Meta announced new AI tools for creators and everyday users on Facebook on June 15, 2026 that makes the platform useful for finding information, creating and sharing content, and personalising user appearances with AI assistance.

How AI Mode find answers

The new search experience, AI Mode, powered by Meta AI (using Muse Spark), gets users real answers taking reference from what people are saying on the internet around reels and community groups. The idea, as Meta frames it, is to understand the information present in real people’s perspectives and lived experiences, rather than generic web results.

The update is simple, however, TechCrunch noted that the reliability of AI Mode’s answers remains an open question, wherein the system pulls data from ordinary user posts rather than professionally verified sources. Outdated details or misleading claims shared in public groups could make their way into the AI’s responses. This is a challenge Meta will need to address as the feature scales.

Smarter editing, with a light touch

The update also brings a set of new AI tools for creators who want to do more with the photos and videos with collage cutout templates.

When sharing content, Facebook will now suggest templates built around recent moments with friends, along with transition effects for putting together short video montages. This new AI tool for creators turns unused photos and shots into actual Instagram posts with little to no effort. If the feature feels too much, it can be turned off easily.

Lastly, there’s a separate feature that lets users play around with how they look in photos. Swapping outfits, changing hairstyles, or trying on accessories through AI-powered presets is accessible through the AI Edit icon in Stories or via the profile picture settings.

What it means for creators and marketers

On the plus side, the profile tool and automated video editing reduces production cost that helps small businesses with limited funds to produce polished content quickly.

Influencers can create a variety of styles without traditional photo shoots thanks. Additionally, AI-powered shopping and one-tap checkout retain the whole user experience inside the Meta ecosystem to facilitate monetisation.

With the help of AI tools for creators, Meta AI learns from the public. The content that brands and creators share today will be how users get answers tomorrow without any unique information. Every post is no longer simply content that’s published online, but data that influences how people find information.
